Avalanche bombs are critical in the area of ski-field management. The avalanche bomb is fired across ski-field valleys and alpine areas to bring down an avalanche and make the ski field safe for the public and skiers.
Working with local entrepreneurs, Absolute Tooling was involved in the product design, prototypes, trialling and finally tooling to create the orange “bomb” that you see. The product is now exported from New Zealand to many locations around the world.
